Non-Duality as a Mindset

Non-duality can be challenging to understand but I noticed that the concept becomes more tangible when its expressed as a mindset – the way you perceive yourself and the world from a non-dual perspective. This can be likened to how actors sometimes prepare for a role by imaging how their character would view the world.

Imagine you could view the world like this and you get a good picture on how non-duality would affect your quality of life:

  1. The universe feels helpful

  2. Surrender feels safe; the funny feelings are also okay as it feels right to be having that experience

  3. When surrendering: deep joy from being authentic in an akarmic way

  4. No belief in the conceptual perception that often reappears

  5. Not bothered by lies on any level, as the world feels like one big stage anyway; it feel normal and okay; as a reflection of the inner state of people

Now, if we can express non-duality through a set of principles that make up a mindset, it only seems logical to me that we can also approach it as a mindset. A mindset change takes about 21 days of focus and repetition.
